A
Piece From the Past
"
Come
out and experience one family's effort to preserve history thru Jim's collection of authentic 1800
antique log cabins. Explore the outdoors; you and your
family may spy a Pileated woodpecker, a big buck, wild
turkey, or Bobcat; hear the wild coyote symphony at dusk;
stroll in the afternoon through acres of gardens and woods;
and don't forget Katy's home cooked country breakfast in the
morning, served in front of a sandstone fireplace! Jim
has been collecting, restoring, and preserving a way of
life that once occupied most of the area of Southern
Illinois. Come on over and join him for a few days
of historical fun! |
